Student schedules for the 2024-25 school year will be available for pick up in the main entrance area on the dates/times listed below. Orientation and schedule pick up for incoming freshman and all new students will be held on Wednesday, August 14 in the Niles McKinley High School auditorium. There will be sessions at both 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. - please only attend one. Parents are encouraged to attend with their student. If you are unable to attend either session, please contact the office for assistance beginning August 5, 2024.

Any student currently in grade 9, 10, or 11 and enrolled in Niles City Schools is eligible to receive a FREE OHSAA physical for the 2024-25 school year. This event will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Niles McKinley High School. Physical forms are available at the school.

On Tuesday, February 27,2024 the Junior class at Niles McKinley High School will be participating in statewide ACT testing. All members of the Junior class are expected to attend. Due to the importance of this test, the administration and faculty want to ensure that these students are provided with a safe and successful academic environment. Therefore, to limit distractions on this day the Freshmen, Sophomore, and Senior classes will not report to school.Juniors will need to report to the high school by 7:30 a.m. and testing will begin by 8:00 a.m. Students will be provided a complimentary special breakfast and celebratory lunch. Students will be dismissed approximately at 1:30 p.m.-however, busing will run as normally scheduled in both the a.m and p.m for those students needing transportation.

After school intervention in Math, Science, English, and History is available for all Niles McKinley students. This intervention can be for additional help with classwork or test prep for End of Course Exams. Any student interested in taking part needs to sign up in the Guidance Office.
