Niles Mini Dragons Preschool

THIS PROGRAM IS FULL FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
Niles City Schools is offering their NEW Mini Dragons Preschool general education program starting in the fall of the 2022-2023 school year
  • Students must be age 4 by August 1, 2022

  • Students already age 5 on August 1, 2022 should register for kindergarten in Niles and are not eligible for this program

  • There is no cost for Mini Dragons Preschool

  • Free Breakfast and Lunch will be available

  • Classes will be held Monday through Friday

  • Tentative school day is 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Enrollment is limited  

  • Registration must be completed and ALL required documents submitted before your child will be considered for the program

Trumbull County Educational Service Center's Integrated Preschool Program at Niles Primary School

  1. Children must be age 4 by October 1, 2022 to be eligible in the 2022-2023 school year
  2. To register, please visit the New Student Enrollment page of this website found under Registration
  3. You must be income eligible to apply for the program; therefore, we will require you to complete an Eligibility Tool and provide proof of your household income. Click this link to download the Eligibility Tool: Eligibility Tool.pdf

Trumbull County ESC Preschool Evaluation Requests 

If the parent of a preschool aged student is requesting an evaluation for services for that child from the Trumbull County Educational Service Center and you reside within the Niles City School District, your child must be registered in our district before their evaluation

  • Once registered, you will be contacted by our Office of Exceptional Children

Fairhaven's Integrated Preschool Program 
  • All children enrolling in this program who reside in Niles City School District must be registered in Niles City Schools

Trumbull County Action Plan (TCAP) Head Start
Parents interested in this program should call their TCAP directly, at (330) 393-2507. This program is housed in the Niles Board of Education building but is not part of the Niles City School District; therefore, parents do not need to register in Niles City Schools to attend TCAP Head Start.
