More than a Great Runner
Junior Hailey Zelinsky will compete in the 2017 OHSAA State Cross Country Meet on Saturday. The race is at the National Trail Raceway, located about 30 miles east of Columbus, in Hebron, Ohio. The 5K race for Division II Girls is scheduled to begin at 11:45 am.
Hailey Zelinsky has not only been an integral part of the Cross Country team in the meets but here in the Athletic Department. She has devoted time after each meet to write meet summaries for the High School & Middle School to be displayed on our webpage. She takes great pride in these articles and ensures that everyone that competed is accounted for in the article. Hailey is the first runner since 1999 to compete in the state meet but to the Athletic Department she is more than a great runner that participates in Cross Country. She is a valued asset to our department and truly deserves the praise for all of her accomplishments. We wish her the best of luck on Saturday and no matter the outcome she has made an impact that goes well beyond the finish line.
