We all know the McKinley High School Marching Red Dragons have spirit, and now their enthusiasm is being rewarded! On Friday, December 2, 2022, the band participated in the City of Youngstown Holiday Parade and Premier Bank's marching band spirit contest. We are proud to share that this year our Marching Dragons placed second, out of 11 schools, in the spirit contest! On Friday, December 9, 2022 Premier Bank representatives Nancy Tabor and Racheal Solida presented a check for $500 to Band Director Mr. Stephen Orlando, band President Alaina Thigpen, and the entire marching band for their second-place finish. "We are grateful and honored to receive this wonderful donation from Premier Bank," says Mr. Orlando. "This money will go directly towards replacing some of our older, damaged instruments." Congratulations Marching Dragons!
