Congratulations to McKinley High seniors Layton Busse, Lily Coupland, Ann Marie D'Urso, Jacob Holloway, Brian Jones, Aniyah Marsh, Vincent McCullough, and Natalia Tate who were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center's Scholars Breakfast held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Leo's Ristorante.

Layton Busse was also presented with the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award on behalf of the ESC. One student in Trumbull County receives the award each school year in recognition of their outstanding leadership and academic abilities. In addition to the plaque, Layton also received a $2,500 academic scholarship.
