After School Intervention

After school intervention in Math, Science, English, and History is available for all Niles McKinley students. 
This intervention can be for additional help with classwork or test prep for End of Course Exams. Any student interested in taking part needs to sign up in the Guidance Office. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Rovnak.

Spring Testing Dates

Spring testing dates are as follows. Students should make every effort to be in school on these days.

Apr. 9: Grade 10 - ELA Part 1
Apr. 11: Grade 10 - ELA Part 2
Apr. 23: Grade 10 & 11 - US History/Government 
             Grade 10 - Algebra I / Geometry
             Grade 10 - Biology
             No School Grades 9 & 12
Apr. 30:  Grade 9 & 10 - Algebra I / Geometry

School Hours

7:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
    Doors open at 7:00 a.m.
    Building opens at 7:20 a.m.

TCTC Transportation

Pick up and drop off for students who attend TCTC is at Niles McKinley High School. The buses will be parked along the sidewalk by the band shell and depart at 7:15 a.m. SHARP. Students must arrive and load onto their bus before then. Students return to McKinley High from TCTC at 2:20 p.m. Students are to leave campus at this time unless they participate in an after-school activity. Those students are to wait outside until dismissal at 2:45 p.m. before entering the building for their activity.

On days when Niles City Schools do not have school and TCTC does (i.e. Snow Days, Calamity Days), transportation will not be provided to TCTC by the district.

Car Rider Form

Parents: if your child will be a car rider to and from school, all year for the 2023-24 school year, please fill out and submit this Car Rider Form as soon as possible. This also includes all students who drive to and from school.

Immunization Requirements

Click here for information on required school immunizations. As a reminder, 12th graders are required to have a Meningitis vaccine.
